On a narrow phone screen, the four record-sleeve answers stack into one touch-friendly column beneath the liner-note question. Every choice remains at least 55 pixels tall and includes its letter, complete answer text, and clear state. Cue Hint and Pause remain large controls below the five-record progress rail, while the compact HUD continues to show set, track, score, streak, and time without horizontal scrolling.
Feedback works without hover or precision gestures
A correct sleeve turns muted teal before the next track. A wrong answer flashes burnt orange, then remains dimmed and disabled so the same choice cannot consume another needle life. A cue adds a bright orange outline to the matching sleeve but still requires a tap. The opaque cream liner-note sheet and dark-teal choices preserve contrast while the original turntable art stays behind the code-native interface rather than replacing any question or control.
The complete session remains available on mobile
Portrait play keeps the same 60 curated records, three music levels, four five-question sets, three shared needle lives, level-based clocks, limited cues, liner-note explanations, streak and time bonuses, pause, restart, and optional fullscreen as desktop. Nothing depends on dragging, swiping, typing, microphone access, a physical keyboard, an account, or multiplayer setup. The game asks knowledge questions only; it does not stream, recognize, or play copyrighted recordings.
