Each run presents all twenty records from the selected level in a new order. Easy builds a practical foundation with strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, keyboard action, tempo, melody, harmony, dynamics, clefs, ensembles, opera, jazz, reggae, and blues. Medium moves through Baroque and Classical history, landmark composers, ragtime, swing, bebop, scales, syncopation, forms, string technique, vocal music, leitmotifs, and Indonesian gamelan. Hard concentrates on intervals, modes, cadences, counterpoint, fugue, rhythm, tuning, synthesis, acoustics, digital audio, filters, compression, microphones, mixing, and MIDI.
Liner notes turn each answer into a compact review
The topic label frames the question before four related record-sleeve choices appear. A correct answer reveals a concise liner note in the status line, explaining why the instrument, term, composer, or technique fits. A wrong sleeve uses one of three needle lives, resets the streak, and remains unavailable for that question, leaving the other alternatives visible for comparison. The options are written to test the stated topic rather than fill space with unrelated words.
A stable fact set with a fresh sequence
Restart reshuffles the chosen twenty-question collection; it does not generate new or unverified prompts. All 60 questions, answer sets, notes, clocks, cues, scoring rules, and input handling live in the client-side game. The quiz covers established music knowledge and recording concepts. It does not identify audio clips, provide music playback, track current charts, or claim live artist, release, concert, or award information.
