On a narrow phone screen, the four answer boards stack into one touch-friendly column beneath the cream press-notes question. Every choice remains at least 55 pixels tall and includes its letter, complete answer text, and clear state. Coach's Hint and Pause remain large controls below the five-marker drive rail, while the compact HUD continues to show quarter, play, score, streak, and time without horizontal scrolling.
Feedback does not depend on hover
A correct board turns field green before the next play. A wrong answer flashes oxblood, then remains muted and disabled so the same choice cannot consume another timeout. A coach hint adds a bright scoreboard-amber outline to the matching board but still requires a tap. The opaque paper question sheet and navy answer surfaces preserve contrast while the original stadium artwork stays behind the code-native interface rather than replacing any question or control.

Portrait play keeps the same 60 curated records, three sports levels, four five-question quarters, three shared timeouts, level-based clocks, limited hints, explanatory press notes, streak and time bonuses, pause, restart, and optional fullscreen as desktop. Nothing depends on dragging, swiping, typing, a physical keyboard, an account, live data, or multiplayer setup. The quiz tests text-based knowledge only and makes no claim about current scores, standings, schedules, or records.
