Play Flag QuizOpen the complete game →Keyboard controls for every flag dispatch
Press 1-4 or A-D to select the matching visible country directly. Arrow keys move among switches that have not been rejected, while Space or Enter confirms the focused choice. H opens an Atlas Hint, P or Escape pauses or resumes an active dispatch, and R restarts the selected level with a fresh flag order. These commands remain available before and after using the shared Fullscreen control.
Fullscreen preserves the signal-room hierarchy
Fullscreen expands The Flag Signal Room title, five-field HUD, ivory flag dossier, SVG clue, passport-stamp lives, four country switches, five-stop rail, Atlas Hint, Pause action, explanation note, and keyboard help without changing a rule. Focus uses a thick teal outline; confirmed answers use mint; mistakes use coral; and rejected countries stay visibly muted. The geometric flag scales from its viewBox, so the color boundaries remain sharp at larger sizes.
A complete single-player keyboard path
The keyboard can start every clock, answer all 20 flags, spend hints, pause, resume, move focus, switch difficulty, and restart. Pointer and touch controls remain equivalent inside and outside fullscreen. Fullscreen changes presentation size only; it does not add map interaction, accounts, opponents, chat, matchmaking, multiplayer rooms, code links, or a live leaderboard. The flag set, country notes, clocks, scoring, and game state remain local to the browser.
