Keyboard controls cover the full route

Press 1-4 or A-D to choose the matching visible capital directly. Arrow keys move among city switches that have not been rejected, while Space or Enter activates the focused choice. H spends an Atlas Clue, P or Escape pauses or resumes the route clock, and R restarts the selected level with a fresh itinerary. Difficulty buttons and the shared Fullscreen control remain standard focusable controls.

Fullscreen preserves the route-office hierarchy

Fullscreen expands The Capital Route Office title, five-field HUD, cream country dispatch, three ticket lives, five-stop rail, four enamel city switches, Atlas Clue, Pause, explanation note, and keyboard-help line without changing a rule. Focus uses a thick turquoise outline; confirmed capitals use green; mistakes use red; and rejected cities remain visibly dimmed. Long country and capital names wrap or scale inside stable responsive containers.

A complete single-player keyboard path

The keyboard can start every timer, answer all 20 countries, spend clues, pause, resume, move focus, restart, and change difficulty. Pointer and touch controls remain equivalent inside and outside fullscreen. Fullscreen changes presentation only; it does not enable a live map, location services, accounts, opponents, chat, matchmaking, multiplayer rooms, code links, or a leaderboard. The country data, answer notes, clocks, scoring, and run state stay local to the page.
