How to play
Break a full rack, claim solids or stripes, call on the black 8-ball only after clearing your group, and manage scratches, ball-in-hand, rails, and turns against the computer or a friend on one device. Choose a computer skill or shared-device mode, then press Start Match, make your move, and use Restart whenever you want a fresh game.
Strategy tips
On the break, hit the head ball first and either pocket a numbered ball or drive at least four object balls to a cushion. The table stays open until a legal non-break shot assigns solids or stripes.
After groups are assigned, contact one of your own balls first and pocket from your group to keep shooting. A scratch, wrong first contact, or a shot with no pocket and no cushion after contact gives the opponent ball-in-hand.
Clear all seven balls in your group before pocketing the 8-ball. Aim by tapping or clicking the table, set power with the slider or W/S, shoot with Space, move ball-in-hand with arrows and Enter, pause with P or Escape, and restart with R.
