Riddle text and answer drawers stay readable in portrait

On a narrow phone screen, the parchment scroll remains above the answers and keeps the complete riddle, category, and letter count at a comfortable reading size. Score, Streak, Time, Keys, and Riddle compress into five labeled fields without forcing page-level horizontal scrolling. The three key lives move into a compact row below the scroll, while the five-lock progress rail retains the complete current-room sequence.

Every decision works through an ordinary tap

The four walnut answer drawers stack into one column and remain at least 54 pixels tall. Each keeps its A-D marker, full answer word, and written state. Room Clue and Pause remain at least 46 pixels high. A tap starts the room clock and selects that visible answer. Correct drawers gain a green unlocked treatment before advancing; wrong drawers use a ruby error treatment, then stay muted and disabled so another tap cannot spend the same key twice. A clue adds a turquoise outline to the answer it supports, and status text explains every result, so the interface never depends on hover or color alone.

The full riddle run needs no device extras

Touch play retains all sixty curated records, the three twenty-riddle levels, four five-riddle rooms, three shared keys, level-based clocks, limited Room Clues, explanations, score and streak bonuses, pause, restart, and optional fullscreen. The complete route requires no swipe, drag, pinch, precision pointer, on-screen keyboard, free-text spelling, camera, microphone, account, physical keyboard, opponent, or multiplayer setup. A phone or tablet can choose a level and finish all twenty riddles with direct taps.
